2006 Mckee Craft 196 marathon

for questions contact: bill 410-984-6448 or bcolonna1@outlook.com 2006 mckee craft 196 marathon this boat is in excellent condition and has been stored under a cover. this is my 3rd mckee craft boat and my second 196 marathon. imo, its the best do it all 20 ft center console made. the 100 percent foam filled construction provides a safe unsinkable hull and a very quiet, solid ride. easy boat for one person to trailer, launch and dock. open bow is made for fishing the rips, casting to birds, shore, etc and give perfect support just above the knees when in rough conditions. but can comfortably seat 6 people – 2 on the cooler seat, 2 on the leaning post and 2 on the aft corner seats and become a great trip and sandbar boat. i had a t-top on my first 196 marathon and prefer it without a t-top. however, mounting plates are encapsulated into the deck to securely add a top. -19ft-6in boat length- bow to stern, excluding outboard -8ft beam -100% composite construction – no wood -18-degree deadrise -80-gallon gas tank, pressure tested all new fuel lines -214-quart forward insulated fish / storage locker (flush deck) -2 forward gunnel storage hatches that have tubes for rod storage -(2) 44-quart livewells in stern double as seats- seat cushions and back rests included. -carolina blue gelcoat with professionally applied pettit vivid white bottom paint. (2023). people dont realize it has bottom paint as the white matches the original bottom gelcoat and was run up the chines for aesthetics as well as protection from scum lines. easily cleaned once removed from a slip to remove any staining. -2006 suzuki df150 four stroke approximately 550 hours and runs great. stainless prop. full service performed 10 hours ago including oil change, all filters, impeller, grease, lower unit gear oil, anodes, etc. non ethanol gas has exclusively been used. -wot approximately 45 mph -(2) batteries – new - 1 size 24 and 1 size 27, 2 position battery switch -new flush, pop up accon led navigation light -12 in lowrance hds mfd - gen 2 touch screen - with gps and sonar -promariner gen 3 prosport 20 amp, 2 bank charger -saltwater washdown pump; rule marine bilge pump, manual and automatic switch -vance 6in setback manual bracket -6 stainless rodholders and 1 mate series combo cup and rod holder -new acrylic clear windshield -swim platform with stainless ladder -4 x 3600 plano tackle station in console (removeable for easy wiring / battery access) -leaning post cushion replaced 3 years ago. -cooler / seat in front of console included -trailer- 2017 djr bunk trailer with oversized aluminum i beams, upgraded alloy wheels with guide posts and led guide post lights to keep them out of the water . boat location: salisbury, md (21801)
