1986 Formula 357 sr-1

this is a one-of-a-kind 357-sr1. 540 c.i., 570 hp engines with less than 10 hrs., built by steve smith in vassar michigan (https://smittysengtrans.com) in 2023.boat has been dry-stored on a lift under a roof with complete cockpit and bow canvas for 20+ years. freshwater boat since i purchased it in 2004, except for occasional poker runs and trips to florida. custom cockpit cowling. cockpit was reupholstered including bolster seats approximately 5 years ago. cabin was rebuilt and reupholstered approximately 10 years ago. corian counters and sink with 5 gal. fw tank. small head w/ porta-potty. new veethree gauges installed 3 years ago. aluminum swim platform, hatches and gauge bezels re-powdercoated in 2022. hull re-painted with awlgrip in 2011. trs drives rebuilt less than 100 hrs ago. transom plates removed, reconditioned and repainted in 2023. trim rams rebuilt in 2023. two sets of props: mirage 23’s and mirage plus 25’s. latham external steering. k-plane trim-tabs. velvet drives rebuilt less than 100 hrs. ago with extra clutches. opened and inspected by steve smith in 2023. engines: closed cooled. edelbrok performer marine heads. mercury 500 efi intakes with larger 48lb holly injectors and higher-flow tpis monoblade throttle bodies. mefi 3 ecu’s (dyno tuned). new holly 100 gph fuel pumps with aeromotive regulators. gil exhaust with dry through transom ss inner pipes and ggb muffler inserts. 12-an external oil lines with 3x25” coolers. crane 168761 cams. eagle stroker cranks. complete build and dyno sheets available. engines were dyno’d and tuned in july 2023: eng.1- 570 peak hp @4775 rpm’s, 670 peak torque@3775; eng. 2- 577 peak hp @5150, 672 peak torque @3750. new moeller marine 80 gal poly fuel tank installed in 2020. 2 spare trs drives included in sale. all mechanical systems on this boat are functional with no issues. 1993 triple-axle haul-rite steel trailer included. completely rebuilt including 3 new axles in 2017. all 6 leaf springs replaced in 2022. brake lines, drum brake assemblies, surge braking system etc have all been replaced and are in good working order. all inner and outer wheel bearings replaced, brakes bled and tested and 4 new tires in july 2024 (the other 2 tires only 3 years old) . bunks have good carpet, are painted with epoxy paint and are thru-bolted to galvanized mounting brackets (counter-sunk bolt heads). led tail lights.
