the challenger 38 designed by john g. alden the hull molded by halmatic and completed in denmark. this blue water yacht is a masthead yawl designed that stands out for its heavy construction, steady handling capabilities and excellent righting capabilities. spring tides is well suited for long journeys and beyond. she underwent a complete restoration in 2003 that included superstructure-cabin / cockpit along with the rigging and fuel tanks replaced.
