the swan 55 (later 57) was a centre cockpit cruising yacht differeing form a lot of the other swan yachst as the model was fairly aimed at the cruising yachtsman, not the cruisier racer. german frers design, the swan 55 still sails very well indeed and is perfect for short handd long distance crusing across te atlantic and the pacific. hogher volue allows for the fitting of generator and larger fule and water with water maker and additional cold and dry storage.
